    Most here will agree
    Verizon > Sprint.

There is one poster that thinks otherwise, he will be here shortly.
Our deposit wasn't that much way back when we switched from TMo to VZW.

I tried switching from Verizon to Sprint (like last year or so)
I lasted like a week or two. Guess they have improved some.

I wouldn't use Sprint if THEY PAID ME to.
The Data is expensive, which is why I'm glad I'm grandfathered into the old Unlimited Plan.

    Hurst Thanks this.

I use Sprint out here and have been a Sprint customer for years. Been with them so long I have an old plan that gives me unlimited everything for $71/month after taxes and fees. But I rarely have an issue with there service and use around 40gbs of data a month on average because I'm always streaming music or podcasts while I drive. I don't pay for a hotspot, I just rooted my phone instead so I have it for free with my unlimited data.

If you're talking about moving from one pre-paid plan to another, you're not going to benefit yourself much. Prepaid plans/phones are different animals then contract plans, especially in terms of data availability. But if you roam far and wide, especially west of the Mississippi, you will probably regret being on Sprint Vs Verizon or ATT if data is your chief concern/need

$140 for one phone???I got two phones on AT&T with 30 GB for $150 taxes Inc That's with the double ur data deal ... Prob going to lower it to 20GB next month and save $20 ... Not using much over 20, I do use Fly J yearly wifi with points ... Every thing I read on FB with Sprint is very negative ...over charging and such , I used to be on them before the IPhone came out ... Guess you could try them for a couple weeks and return the phone before 15 days or so

There is no such thing as an old plan or grandfathered in. You have a contract for a fixed amount of time. When it's up you get a new contract which has nothing to do with your old one.

I don't have a contract with Sprint and I have had the same plan for years at the same price. Sprint does have such things but for the op and his question, Sprint works out here on the road. I haven't had many issues where I have no service or data and I'm using running out on rural roads and US highways and I'll even have 4G. For the amount of data I use each month and at the price, Sprint is the way to go for me. Vzw or att would cost way to much just for the data usage.
