I have a Blue Eagle that I just sat on the other day and apparently destroyed the noise cancelling... I replaced it with the Silverado and it is noisier than the broken Blue Eagle... I went back and he replaced it with a different one, and on the way home, I used it in the CAR and was still told it was noisy as heck. I will return it monday and order a new Blue Eagle off ebay... It could be that the Silverado doesn't like my phone ( Palm Treo Pro), But the Eagle is the best bluetooth ever made in my opinion, as long as you can deal with the over the head thing. Personally, I can't stand those little things that hang on your ear...

I have a blackberry storm and I just use the speaker phone. Never had a complaint about the truck being loud or n e thing. I don't talk on the phone enuff to pay 100 fo a head set. Do the driving gloves come with those things?

I just picked up the Cobra headset and I really like it over the Motorola earbud I was using. My truck is very loud and the Cobra really blocks out most if not all of the background noise. I can use it with the window open on the highway and no one can tell that I'm in the truck. It was on sale at the Petro for $79.99. I just used points and got it for free.

That's sad to hear, I had been told that the Silverado was supposed to replace the Blue Eagle. I'm on my Second Blue Eagle in three years and wouldn't trade it for anything.
Plenty still on sale on E-Bay.

I've seen the Cobra on display. Was wondering if anyone had good luck with it. I'll have to keep it in mind once you can no longer find the blue Eagle online. thanks for the info.

Don't get the Cobra! for the same money you can have a Blue Parrot. My first mentor had the Cobra and he wasn't happy with it, low talk time. I'm still very pleased with my Blue Parrot after 3 months. Very clear on both ends, no matter how loud the truck is and the battery runs forever.

I don't know about the others, but if you are researching and want a safe can't lose choice then go with the Blue Parrot. Opposite end hears NOTHING but your voice. I also guarantee you'll never have the volume all the way up on your end without a good deal of pain.

I’ll have to disagree on this, I bought my wife the Blue Parrot on sale for $89.00 and it doesn’t even come close to the Blue Eagle.

Talk time is half and standby is about half also I believe. And the there is a huge difference in the noise canceling capabilities.

If I didn’t have both to make the comparison my opinion wouldn’t be so strong.

The blue parrot works great for her in here car and around the house. But I borrowed it in between my first and second Blue Eagle and I really was at a loss. Once I replaced my Blue Eagle I couldn’t wait to give it back.

I used to hang my Blue Eagle from my CB and every so often from bumps on the road it would fall.
Well it broke one of the wires leading to the earpiece and it was too small for me to repair with solder.

I don’t hang my new one from the CB anymore.

But if you get the chance to compare the two, you’ll notice the difference.

hmm.. i don't have any of those issues. I can't speak for previous revisions, but the brand new B250XT is the one I have. I assume issues get worked out with new releases.

Well that's some good news. My wife has the 150, so the improvment was well needed.
Thanks for the info, Sure it will help others out.
