Well, I had an interesting experience last week with my Jawbone. I couldnt find it on Thursday morning when I was ready to leave home. As I put my cellphone into my recently laundered pants, I noticed that my Jawbone was already in the pocket. This means that it went through the washer and dryer. So I figured, oh well, new Jawbone on the cards.
So, when I got home, I put it on charge, the light came on. After it was charged, I tried it, and it still works perfectly.

SO its a BIG thumbs UP to this little device!

I got rid of my JawBone POS this week

My sister wanted it, so she bought me a new Blue Parrot AND an extra battery to go with it...even trade

People said it sounded great, on their end. I just could NOT hear/understand S*%& on my end. Even at full volume.

I received my Plantronics 510 and am very happy. I have a box full of bluetooths and headsets that are useless in a truck so imagine my happiness
when I found that I can hear clearly without even going full volume and the other end says the call is clearer than when I didn't use a headset, everyone I called noticed the sound was much better than before. Best 44.99 I have spent on a headset, now the wife wants mine.

The sad part of your post, aside from the cost. I bought my son one of those for Christmas, and never asked to check it out for quality. To see if I would like it.

I prefer the full headset style

I tried the Blue Parrot but regrettably it was incompatable with my Nokia cell phone. I returned the Blue Parrot to Flying J and bought the new 4x Max headset advertised at the Pilot truck stops. The cost was 129.99 but it was worth it. The headset works great, No complaints and it was easy to mate up to the Nokia.

I had bought the plantronics that comes with the 3 ear pieces and never had a problem. That was last year. I took a while off trucking and now that I'm back on the go, my friend says he can hear my truck noise. It seems that when it's fully charged it works better. Then again, the person that is telling me about the noise is always braggin about the parrot he is using (also trucker). lol

I forgot which one I had, but did not like anything on my ears. So I did a small investment and got the New Cobra CB with bluetooth, and tried it out and works good enough for me.
