JBHUNT as far as I know is the only company that implements hair folicle testing in and throughout their company. They do it pre-employment and randomly. This is entrapment and predatory. JBHUNT is actually trying to legislate this and lobby the DOT and FEDs to make this mandatory testing....But consider the company...JBHUNT is building a case against you the moment you apply and walk through their doors on orientation day....How do I know this?.....I drove for them from 2007-2009...terminated for 2 preventables....1 was not a preventable but they have the power to say that it is....so I have been blackballed......You dont have to have a citation or even be at fault....which i had neither one of those...so long as a big compnay like JBHUNT is given the power to slander without consequence on DAC reports they have carte blanc on your CDL...STAY AWAY FROM JBHUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!....oh and they dont tell you about the hair folicle test until the moment you are sent upstairs with all the other goats....you pass the urine test but fail the hair you are done in trucking and JBHUNT will make sure you are....I myself have never failed any test to this very day.....but I am blackballed by them so watch your back with JBHUNT.

Hey, I quit smoking bud about 2 weeks ago, obviouly not long enough to pass a urine test. I am beginning school on Monday with Central, and was wondering about the urine test proceedure. Do they watch you pee? In other words, can I use synthetic urine or do I need to just work on detoxing? There are products that cater to situations like mine, but I'd rather not take the chance on my own pee pee. Thanks so much, and I can't wait to join my friends on the road!!!

well all i can say is this......you cannot get off to that kind of start in this industry and then when you get screwed down the road be entitled to a complaint.....my advice to you is postpone your orientation because if you go in there and piss dirty or get caught before you even start your career you can forget driving a truck FOREVER!!!!...getting caught tryin to cheat a drug screen is worse than a dirty one and that monkey will be on you FOREVER!!!....TRUCKING COMPANIES SEE TO IT THAT YOUR BACKGROUND WILL REFLECT THAT...take my advice and just stop smoking bud man!!....you cant drive a big truck and get high before, during, or after you drive....you get in an accident and kill someone you are so up #### CREEK and for what?...smoking some herb???...this is not the job for you my friend if you in fact are not done smoking herb....take care and good luck

Get clean before you pee. Six week minimum. Then stay clean.

Well then! I suppose thats the plan. I wasn't looking for advice on how to smoke while I drive, but I guess I jumped in a bit quickly. Terrible thing tho, a man tryin' to make changes in his life, isn't it? Thanks for the warm welcome and helpful advice. Smoke if you got em! Not joints, of course. Jesus.....

If you want to be a driver thats fine with me, you just got to wait to clean yourself out man.

You will be putting the nail in your own coffin going if your not clean.

Thanks for your approval Brickman, it calms me to know that it's alright with you if I drive. It was a question about their policies, which no one has answered BTW. This has turned into a grill session for some ex-stoner. In a country that was built upon a foundation of weed and hemp, I would think that some hard workin' people such as yourselves could see the conundrum I'm in. I won't say anything else. I was just lookin for some friends to talk about it with. Good luck to Junior, eh? Cheers, MFer's....

My GF is a major stoner so I could care less, 99% of the info that people say about pot is untrue & put out just to scare the kids. Its also dumb to be judging you on your past when at least half the drivers out there have done the same thing or more then you have in the drug department.

They seem to know everything about you before you get there to start all the paperwork, so its just a better idea to make 100% sure that you can pass anything & everything they might give you. All it takes is one faild test to kill most opportunities you might have in the future.

I live in Cali. & looks like next November we will be making pot legal so it will get real intreating to see what happens.
