If you lease from CRS keep this in mind they will lease you what ever you want. The newer vehicles, you will never own, the older vehicles you shouldn't want to own.
Allow me to explain. I drove for CRS for a year and got the hell away from them.
A few of my driving school buds leased vehicles from them. One leased an 06 Volvo (new), and the other an 05 W9. They both liked their trucks till the reality of what they'd done set in.
The new volvo was around $580.00 a week and the lease term was 48 months. At the end of the lease term you could arrange your own financing and buy the truck or turn it in on a new truck and your lease term started all over again. My friend figured he would save up and buy the truck once his lease expired. He found out the truck new cost was $128,634.93. At the end of his lease, he figured he would have paid $120,640.00. Now, this was a pretty sharp guy that used to sell and lease cars before going to truck driving school. So he knew there would be leasing fees involved and was figuring and preparing to pay about another $30k. Fortunately for him, 2 years into his lease he started bugging CRS about his lease and the buyout and they finally told him the cost to buy the truck from them would be around $74k. He's now driving for JCT. Has a 06 379 Pete and said after paying about $141k (end of lease term) on a truck that had 184k miles on it when he got it, he pays $1.00 and gets the title.
The bud that leased the 05 W9 noticed his hood was not properly aligned and figured it had been replaced. No big deal, until one day at CRS main terminal (West Valley City, Ut.) he was walking past the salvage part of their lot (behind the maintenance shop) and noticed a cab with traceable numbers on it that matched his cab number only this cab looked as if it had been rolled over. He and a buddy mechanic of his got on the computer and found out the truck he was leasing had the frame straightened and the cab replaced because it had been in a roll over and the team driving the truck had been killed.
He got so pissed, he went to the equipment managers office and cold cocked the guy. The last I heard my bud was still in jail.
So, do you still want to lease from CRS? Don't think I'm just another disgrutled driver. I'm not. In fact, since I own my own truck now, I've thought about trying to lease on with them but I betcha they will not hire me simply because they can't make anymore money off me than the 15% or so they charge for dispatching me.

The whole rebuilding of rolled & wreaked trucks is a very common thing with Central. I have run into a large number of guys that are leasing & found out that the truck they are driving had been rebuilt.

Most of them are costing them way more then a un-rebuilt truck due to the truck just never being "right" again, most of them just kill tires like there is no tomorrow because no matter how many times they go to a shop they can't be realigned again.

Ain't that the truth. The first time I was in West Valley City, I had to put my truck on line for maintenance and at the end of the line was a frame, motor, wheels/tires, and trans, no cab shell.
No doubt they will put a cab shell on that and lease/sell to a unsuspecting driver.

I hear ya. My mom used to drive for Covenant with her husband. They were good friends with another husband/wife team that had bought a truck from Covenant. (Not sure if it was a L/P or what) They ultimately found out the truck had been "wrecked" 21 times and was totaled out by the insurance company twice. Albeit this is word from my mom (who I trust) told to her by the other driver (you know how that goes) but you could see how that could happen. By the way, when I heard the "21 wrecks" I would assume that would include all minor incidents like rubbing up against a pole when backing in a wrinkling a running board. I've seen lot of company trucks with some really poor looking running boards on the right side.
