You shouldn't have to go to an atm once you get the advance. Just call your card and authorize the com check for the amount.

Very big waste of time. Still beats dealing with an atm though. That's nuts.

    Wow.
All this stress over scale tickets.

Just scan it in with the BOL for that load and you will get paid back.
So what if you are out ten bucks for a week, it gets back to you.
If it is scanned in by Wednesday midnight it will be on the next check.

Be careful about using the scanners at Swift terminals, however. They do not like yellow paper, so the scan is just black. If they can't read it, you won't get paid for it.
Best to use the copy machine first so it is black and white.
Or do like I do and only scan from the truck stops that have TransFlo. Much less headache.

    Someone mentioned Plus-1.
That is a whole nuther topic, but something that you should learn to deal with if you want to avoid undue stress and service failures.
It is a computer program that plans your loads as though you are also a simple machine.
If you let it, you will never be on time for any load. Nor will you have time to shower, do laundry, take a pee break, shop for food... etc..

I don't usually get into this forum. I'm a Swiftie, so I post mainly there.
If you would like some advice about Plus-1, or Swift in general, start a thread in the Swift section so us Swifties can help with the transition.

    Hey , thanks !! /\
I may have to do that , cause its not they are gonna bring all us drivers into the terminal and tell us how we are supposed to do things now , we kinda have to figure things out on our own , and then when its wrong . We will all get a nasty message . Lol

    Don't feel bad.
Most new drivers are not told how to deal with Plus-1, and many other things, even from their mentors.

You either have to be smart enough to figure it out, or know someone that can tell you.
I am only smart enough about Plus-1 because I was here before it was put in place, so I saw what changed.
There was also a change in the Mac9 (the load acceptance macro) shortly after, which is related.
Knowledge of both are required if you are to manage your time as you see fit, instead of the company managing it for you.

Am I the only one who is going to make a fool of themselves and ask what plus 1 is? lol. Maybe because I'm local I don't know? Not sure. I know i used to set my PTA for 12/31/14 0005 to keep of the planners radar. But now the system sends me a message saying that's too far and to contact dm immediately. Lol. So i just set it for the next day i work at my start time. Hopefully I don't break the system.

Plus-1 is a system that is supposed to get you 1 more load per week by utilizing your hours more effectively.

It tries to run you on very tight schedules.
In practice it runs things too tightly, to the point of absurdity.

You will often get a preplan just moments before you have to start driving in order to make pick up on time.
It will plan your delivery based on an average speed and loaded miles, with no regard for actual road speeds or other factors that might slow you down.
If there are pick up and delivery windows it won't show them to you. The times are all based on what the system thinks you can manage.
