Glad you found out what happened tangerine.Most of us have direct deposit and when you get it companies should inform us that they can dig into our accounts at anytime.

Shocked they would do that, I don't and never have worked for Swift...I do however work for SNI and I have been over paid on several occasions and not once have they gone in and taken the funds out of my checking account. They have always just taken back what they over paid from the following weeks payroll. I was not contacted per say, but I knew it was going to happen from looking at the pay detail we get each week...

 

Just makes it like an advance on your next check. This seems logical, the other is inhumane. Somebody could be counting on that money being there for bills after already budgeting it in.

 

So, you didn't get overpaid. You got paid twice to two different accounts and the funds were pulled back from one account. Bottom line though you got paid and are not out any money.

Again, you didn't lose any money. It's in your comdata account. I'll grant you it's an inconvenience.

You can go to a branch and write yourself a comcheck and deposit it. Or, if your wife can get a comcheck, you can register it for the amount and she can deposit it in your account.

 

Most any bank would hold that com data check for 3 business days as well cause most of them have no clue and have never even seen one. I know that's how it used to be done. My step dad use to get paid that way in the 80's and mom would write large com data checks to deposit in the bank but now days managers would be involved and they dang sure wouldn't release the funds till it was returned to them valid lol...
but it could be done most any pilot flying j or ta/Petro will have com data checks on hand to get one from them.
