Even with forced dispatch you can usually tell your dispatcher that you feel going into NYC is a safety concern. I never pulled that card during my time with Central but I was told by several drivers that it was an option and they would be given another load.

I've only done stores twice. Both were a chain owned by Fred Meyer.

It was great cause while they were unloading me i went in and stocked up on food and stuff.

I need one of those deliveries once a week.

Plus they are normally pretty quick about it , not sitting there for 2 hrs. Lol

This is kinda weird for like maybe about the last 2 weeks I haven't had to pay lumpers at all , they tell me its been prepaid every time . Thats kinda nice .

Yep ... a beautiful awesome drive. You do it once and never do it again.

Maybe one of the perks with Swift, a lot of locations are prepaid ... I went through a long enough stretch at one point, I actually forgot how to fill out the macro for a lumper request.

    tangerineGT Thanks this.

I think in 3 years, I have had to fill out 4 comchecks. The last time I actually had to send a free form to ask what Macro

Keep in mind three things.... 1) Recruiters are like used car salesmen, they are going to tell you anything including what you want to hear to get you to sign the paper. 2) 99.999% of recruiters can't spell truck let alone know what or how we do things. 3) if a recruiter tells you "I used to drive truck" keep a very important rule in mind; Those who can do, those who can't work in the office! ( and that doesn't mean they SHOULD be working in the office either)
