Just hooked a 2014 trailer and it has what looks like a forward facing camera on the nose. It is located right under refer status light. The light that is either a white T or a yellow K. Anybody else see these cameras, or know anything about them? I can tell you this a cap from 20oz coke bottle fits perfectly over it!! I got a few pictures of it, but I can't seem to post them. I think I don't have enough posts on here. If somebody want them just inbox me an email or cell#, and I will send them to you. So maybe you can post them.

LET THE CONSPIRACY THEORIES BEGIN!!blsqueak, Green-eyed Lady, miynis63 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I think that is one of them there new fangled cameras with the laser beam in it. When the trailer registers there is no weight in it and it is empty it will shoot a laser directly into your eyes, that laser energy is going directly into your brain making you forget you did that load so they don't have to pay you for it. It's top secret, don't tell anybody, I'm risking my own personal well being just discussing it here. Don't forget, watch out for those new invisible black helicopters, the DOT just bought a bunch of them used from the CIA. I better get off here before they track my signal.

I saw it on a 581 trailer the other day, didnt even think about it being a camera, because when the reefer was running, it was lit up. I thought it was just another status light of some sort. I guess if it is a camera, you could get a tint screen on your drivers window, then it might not be able to see in your window thru your mirror.

Guess I was wrong it's not a camera but a light, it's for the trailer TPMS system. When the system detectes low air pressure in a tire it turns the light on.
