So the red triangle with the exclamation mark in it is flashing!? Anyone have any idea what it is?!

    Thank you!

Some kinda warning, you can press that and it will tell you what the issue is

Critical Event Recorder....don't ask me how I know:biggrin_25510:

Some sort of hard break or roll/stability event. You should have a red circle on the screen you can push to find out what you've done.

or it could be a log violation/warning as well.

It will come on for any critical event: one hour of drive time left, 30 minutes drive time left, etc. as it counts down to your 30 minute break, 11 hour drive time, 14 hour limit, or 70 hour limit. It also comes on if you have an overspeed, hard braking event, or take a turn too fast and activate the lateral force sensor.

As noted above you can press the button to find out what the issue is. If "Judy's" voice volume is turned up you get the verbal warnings for time limit countdown. Not sure about the other critical events.

Yep, what Joe said... And if you have an On Guard System you can get them for following distance as well...

    Does Central have On Guard?

Some of the Freightliners yes... We have a 2012 Cascadia... It was one of ten (I think) that they tested before they ordered them for more on their company trucks... And since we leased a company spec truck, we got one :)

It has it's good and bad points... For the most part I like it, but then I've learned its idiosyncrasies.. LOL!

I'm leery of On Guard after reading some of the incidents others have experienced, like hard braking at shadows, etc. I'd have to put lack of OG rather high on my list for driver satisfaction.

The red triangle on the qualcomm means you're exempt from HOS regulations.

Thanks for all the advice! It was in fact our OG. We got cut off and it started going crazy because we were "too close" the the vehicle in front of us. Not our fault! But oh well. What can ya do right!
And we are not able to check and see what the violation was while moving. And we were trying to avoid stopping! My fiancé drives and I'm just his own personal ride along secretary. It sucks that even tho there are 2 of us we still can't read "urgent messages" of warnings from the OG!
