I read that Central was testing some of these out. Does anyone here driven any of them? Or know anyone? Thoughts? Comments? Please, don't confuse this with an Eaton auto shift, it is not the same thing.

Might have to bump this until someone sees it, there are people who would talk if they saw it.

I would think they are OK, having driven a few Allison equipped heavy trucks myself, but not the TC10, yet. None of the automated would be quite like a full automatic, especially in heavy traffic with lots of starts and stops.

I'll be waiting. Some people, even if they drove it, wouldn't be able to give a good review or have any appreciation for the technology that is behind it. They would just call it an 'automatic.'
