    New to Trucking

Hey there I am going to be attending Centrals school in SLC starting in Jan of 09... Been reading some blogs and it seems to be a good company to start out for... Any advice out there? What are their trucks governed at?

Hey Motox its Shawn from your class at central. Congratulations to both of us for completing the cdl course. Whew I'm glad its over.
Now to anybody who wants to go to central for training, I only recommend it to those who are fast learners, because it is as really fast pace 2 week course. We Started with 30 students only 20 passed(some failed drug screen, background, written test, and 3 failed parking). The first week you are in the dorm which is good because you are at the school and bad because it stinks and it used to be some kind of juvinial hall. Second week you are at the Ramada. The Ramada is nice, no continintal breakfast though. And you will need about 400 dollars to bring for your food and other stuff.(buy non perishable food instead of spending 20 bucks a day)
