Help find missing man and his dog I-80 nevada wells to winnemucca

Patrick F. Carnes, 86, and his Akita mix dog were last seen on April 13, 2010 at 1100 hrs in Wells, Nevada. He was traveling I-80 to his home destination in Reno, Nevada. Carnes never got home. His green four-door subaru station wagon was located at I-80 and exit 205 Pumperknickel Valley Road, abandoned off in the brush. Humboldt County, Lander County and Washoe County Nevada Sheriff's Offices have spent 600 hours in ground searches along with multiple aerial searches with no results. Carne's vehicle was found at 0600 hrs on April 14. Any and all truckers traveling I-80 Nevada from Wells to Winnemucca between the hours of 1100 April 13 and 0600 April 14 may have seen this man and his dog. His family is desperate to find this man. They are now looking for information on a truck that is wanted for questioning. Hoping that we find him. Police are thinking that it could be connected to a serial killer truck driver. Hoping this is not the case. If anyone knows what the logo on the back of this trailer says. Please contact the Humbolt County Sheriffs office. Let's find Pat and Lucky!

It was reported to the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office recently by a trucker who recalls seeing a dog similar to Lucky on or about April 17, 2011 between 2 and 6 p.m.. The trucker saw the dog in the vicinity of Button Point on I-80 (South of Golconda, NV) wandering about on the north side of the freeway appearing lost or confused. Anyone having seen the dog, rescued it or saw someone else pick up the dog, please contact Humboldt County Sheriff's Department at (775) 623-6419 with info.
