Help Missing Trucker Kipp Tyo

Kipp Tyo left Southington, CT on his way to Wooster, MA to deliver a load and never made it there. The last phone call from his cell phone was at 5:30am from the Southington area to his home here in Ohio. There have been no further transactions on any of his accounts. He was driving a 2005 red Volvo with TYO BROS in white on the doors. Please read attached flyer and help us find our loved one.

Missing Trucker Found

As you all know our uncle Kipp Tyo went missing on March 20- We found him, he went to sleep in his bunk in a truck stop and never woke-up. We did not get any help from law enforcement. Friends of my uncles drove over from New York to run the route and found him. They found him at a truck stop that we had called and faxed a missing person flyer to. Then when his friends found him the police did not even want to come out to help them and at first would not help them break into the truck to check on him, said he was just "sleeping". They broke the biggest window on the truck out of it then impounded it. Now we have to pay a lot of money to get it out of the impond lot and fix the window before we can drive it home and they could not even do their job.

If you are an independent trucker make sure you have GPS on your truck or on your phone because God forbide something should happen to you, your family will be on their own in looking for you. There is no help until it is too late.

I am so sorry for the loss of your uncle. At least you have the peace of knowing now and you can stop searching and wondering.

Are you saying that he passed away? And now you are responsible to get the truck back home?

That's exactly what he's saying, bullhaulerswife. He also has to pay the impound fees and fix the window before he can get the truck. Makes no sense to me IF it's a company truck.

I'm sorry for your loss but glad you finally found out what happened.

Very sorry....We'll pray for your family and if you need to vent feel free to PM ANYTIME....Law Enforcement is like every other occupation these days.Full of ignorant, unproffesional folks with little or no education towards their jobs and very little concern or compassion for anyone but themselves. Its so unfair that you had to deal with all the extra crap on top of what you already had to deal with.

Thanks everybody for thinking of us at this difficult time it was his own truck he's an independent trucker so we are responsible for the load and getting the truck back. 2 friends of the family are going to fly out and get the truck deliver his load and bring it home for us.
