Since truckload is a different division they might re-hire you. Best is to check with HR or even a recruiter. I worked for freight as well as a driver and I walked off the job as well

That is why I turned my notice in this past Friday. I am titled as Asst Manager handle all routing all payroll and opining terminal daily. On top of that I run a daily route . After 20 years I have had enough. Call it what you will stupid is as stupid does. My bad but time to move into a new direction......

They offered me a spot in the OTR division 36cents a mile with a 4 cents incentive bonus. We will see how it goes.Atleast i can build my OTR experience back up.

Well done and congratulations. But I'm sure you left them a little bit better than I did. I basically told them to hang it in their arse and walked out......I did have the decency to give a good pass down to the next guy, but I doubt they remember that part.
Hey man, I'm just gonna give it a shot. The worst thing that can happen is that they say no.
