    I recently applied for Con-Way's Student Over-The-Road Truck Driver. Has anyone else applied/been hired? How does the hiring process/cdl school work? Thanks!!

    They will burn up your phone.

    Truckload right?

    Week at crowder boot camp
    Then three weeks with trainer
    Pass test get truck.

    Make crappy wages for a year.
    Then make the same as someone that works here for 20 years.... Dead end career path.

    That def. has the ring of truth to it LOL :) I need my CDL and that all important 1-year of exp.

    Do you work/have you worked for them? In your opinion are they a better place to start then say SWIFT, Prime, Knight, etc?

    Is that Crowder College in Missouri? I don't have my CDL, so isn't it a longer school? Is it paid/how much do they pay?
