Just talked to a recruiter at Con-Way about the MidSouth regional routes. Anyone here run those states? What's your average miles? Do they vary quite a bit or is it more consistent? I'm trying to get info on a few companies. I'd like to get in with the "best" group for my situation, and a few of them are requiring a year commitment for paid tuition at CDL school. What's your honest opinion of Con-Way Truckload?

Oklahoma you'll be running pet food and tractor supply.

Miles will be 2100-2300 from past convos are good weeks.

You go to Denver and even up to Budweiser if they need someone to sit around for abit.

They will get you home late and when you go home you'll probably be screwing up someone else's week relaying pitiful miles on the bone.

Personally I detested the midsouth guys. ;).

I'd look elsewhere for a dedicated run like out of Pauls valley that can get you home more consistent with other companies. Dedicated doesn't exist here unless you live in Waco or Hazelton. Guys I talked to around Houston get back for part of Sunday and expected to board the next morning. If you get home Saturday after 0730 you can stretch it out until Monday but that normally won't happen.

Skim thru the 20 thread and it won't be long to find a driver ######## about being 10+ days requested and still states away.

My opinion is: meeehhhhhhhhh depends what you're looking for. Money you will find better options. Vacation seeing the country? Pretty sweet deal but once you see everything you want it gets old quick doing the same dance over and over with joplin.

    RackEmUp Thanks this.
