Con-way Truckload announced today, March 17, the opening of a driver orientation site in Phoenix. Con-way Truckload plans to hire more than 250 experienced professional truck drivers from several Western states, including Arizona, Nevada, California, New Mexico and Colorado over the next 12 months. The new site adds to Con-way Truckload's national network of 12 orientation sites and supports the company's expanding customer base in that region of the country — a result of Con-way Inc.'s acquisition of Contract Freighters Inc. in August 2007.
