Thanks for that - I cannot beleive they replaced the KW's with FL Cascadia's. Dont get me wrong I have never actually driven a Cascadia but if it is anything like the Columbia's I will never team in one of those again...they don't call them freightshakers for nothing.

The columbia I teamed in was fairly new and had low miles, but every cupboard door rattled, the top bunk banged etc. the noise was almost unbearable...~lol~. We had cardboard stuck in the doors and bungies on the top bunk and even that did not work perfectly...~laughing~ I will say though they are a great truck for Solo Drivers because you are not moving when sleeping and are roomy.

I have teamed in FL Classics, FLD's and T600's and have to say in my humble opinion the T600 beat the rest of the others hands down for sleeping while moving but they are a little tight between the seats to get to the back.

Different trucks for different folks...

Thanks again for the info.

I was in one of the T2000's while I was in training and I have to say I like the cascadia more. The T2000 was VERY noisy while driving. I also teamed in a T600 and I liked it, but it was too small. I am very happy with the Casscadia so far.

Same experience here. I teamed in a Cascadia during my training for just over a month and the noise and shakes were limited - but the truck was fairly new. After another 50k it might be a different story. I was in a T600B after that for another 6 weeks and that thing was all over the place noise-wise and shaking/vibrating. Even when driving, the empty seat next to me wouldn't stop making noise.

IMHO I would take the Cascadia over the T600 hands down. That isn't even mentioning the space!

The T2000's are fleet trucks like the Columbia and Century, so I guess they are built along the same lines - as good as they can without spending as much as they would on the so called O/O trucks...thats how I see it anyway.

As for the Cascadia perhaps FL has addressed the issue of the noise in these types of trucks...only time will tell I guess. Be interesting to see what they are like with 500K's on them....~s~

Glad to hear it is working out for you.

Like I said each to their own...and it will be interesting to see what the cascadias are like after a few months. If KW could get the space thing sorted out I think the T600's will be a really great truck...

Thanks for the info. Conway told a friend of mine that once he gets his CDL and lives from a line up to Lansing, Michigan, he would be considered for a position with the company.

wish you success, peace of mine, and happiness !

Give them a call on the hiring area, I'm pretty sure they are hiring all over. They have gotten me home within 7-10 days each time I have asked. They do run NYC, I have been there once. They claim less than 1% of their freight goes to or from NY state, but I have been there 3 times. I certainly haven't run 300 loads.

If all fairs well, I will be en route to OH for orientation at CWTL on Saturday. I am hoping the positive comments I heard about them were not posted before the CFI integration. I am hoping this will be a final resting place.
