Con-way Truckload driver reaches three million accident-free miles
Quote:
Con-way Truckload announced that company driver Herb Mitchell has achieved three million miles of safe driving. Mitchell is the ninth Con-way Truckload driver in the 57-year history of the company to achieve that mark. A professional truck driver since 1962, Mitchell joined Con-way Truckload in 1981. He currently lives in Joplin, Mo., where Con-way Truckload is based.

"Herb Mitchell has now safely driven the equivalent of 12 trips from the Earth to the moon for Con-way Truckload, and that is a remarkable accomplishment that can only be achieved through a lifelong commitment to safe driving practices,” says company president Herb Schmidt. "We are tremendously proud to have Herb as a Con-way Truckload driver.”
