I upgraded right around thanksgiving and didn't go home either, but don't recall getting any holiday pay for working through. I did get a $200? bonus for working from dec 20-jan2. The bonus amount probably wasn't worth giving up christmas at home, but the last minute miles were fantastic
That's unfortunate. I've tried to avoid specifics in case upidty-ups are looking -- I hope the company didn't pressure you one way or the other.

Company is recalling the drivers to Chattanooga and kicking them in the nuts for online posting regarding Covenant.
Freedom of speech is not condoned in company policy there anymore.
That is the word I received in a phone call from someone else yesterday at any rate. I can't say for sure it is true, but came here to investigate if there was any sign of them enforcing this policy on members of various forums.
If any covenant drivers would care to confirm, or deny this information, feel free to PM me and let me know.
If someone from the company wishes to confirm or deny this, they are welcome to do so in the open forum for all to see.

If a company is concerned about what employees have to say about it, maybe that company needs to step back and take a long, hard look at itself.
Any company that is afraid of what its employees has to say about it is not a company I would want to work for. But then I drive for a company that treats drivers like valuable assets, not sub-human machines.

I have been taking "hometime" near company terminal and had some talk with folks there. No time now but will post something about that later. I believe TransportHer will come back to this forum sometime in the future. Met them at terminal.
They are wonderful people! And real drivers, not some 'in-house' person pretending they are drivers (which is what I had thought they were at the beginning of their postings).
