I read on another blog that C.R. England has shut down all company drivers for 72 hours due to a computer virus at their HQ in Salt Lake which knocked out their qualcomm.
    Anyone heard anything on this?

Why would it only effect company driver's ? Also what's the purpose of shutting down all the trucks that have loads on them and driver's sitting at shippers. I can see maybe no dispatch until problem is fixed but then again how can they say when it'll be fixed sounds like a internet rumor....

CR England has company drivers?! Thought they were all given flease (lease) deals...
If they did stop company drivers...just one more way to say...shoulda signed a lease...starve out the stubborn company guys..let the lease guys (often working for less than nothing by the end of the lease) do more work....
conspiracy theroy aside ir does sound like an urban legend/internet rumor.

I assure you it's not an internet rumor. While I can't share the link here (against forum policies) on the other forum, the driver posted an actual picture of the Qualcomm message. It states the following:

Again, this was not typed out on the other forum. It's an actual photo of the qualcomm with that message.

Word is company drivers are back up and running and the company claims it was a "computer virus." But something just doesn't add up.

EDIT: Somebody posted the photo here: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...op/158246-whats-going-on-at-cr-england-2.html

No, you don't. In fact, if you don't have any previous driving experience or business management experience, I'd suggest staying away from leasing.
