I see your from So Cal, don't go western regional! If they offer it to you it may seem like a good deal but its hard handling short haul when your new. Find a good OTR fleet and after 6 months start looking at your options.

Thats all that I'm using CR England for is to get those 6 months done and Go with another company, I'm ready to get treated like crap since I already am at my current job, but I'm not really here for the money as long as i can support my self on the road, I'm fine and dandy.. I'm here to make an adventure, and a life on the road.

I'm here to drive, Not sit and #### chat...

What happened man? If you hate your fleet get out. If you have a perfect ontime percentage talk or e-mail Bud Pierce. He will find you a good fleet that will give you the miles. He helped me get into a good fleet now I have too many miles thrown at me. PM me if you have specific questions.

Oh man, this Brian in B1 is a complete moron, I have called and called but no one answers or returns my calls. Bud Pierce's name has never been given to me as someone to contact. I was late on 1 load, my 2nd load with the company since then I have been early by a few hours on most loads, a few I arrived 30 min early but never right on time or late since that 2nd load. I got a call from my DM one day asking why I was running sleep prev. I told him I run it when I have to night drive and went into my trip plan and explained I would get to the rec. almost 3 hours early. Well this guy starts telling me I have no idea what im doing and running like that gets you less miles in a drive shift and I need to run 10 straight hours. So I began to explain that its the same blah blah blah and Im still getting there 3 hours early so I will drive how I see fit. This is where it started, the next load I got was a 300 mile load that I dropped and had to sit for 3 days to pick up the next load. So I pick that load up and I head out, He calls again and says I need to swap and give up the 1400 mile load for another 300 mile load cause the drive is out of hours, I decline this 1400 mile load drops on Wednesday and I need the miles to keep from falling back in the hole. Never once before this have I declined a load of any kind. He then tells me I never help out when he needs it and he "will remember this". Drop that load get another 1000 mile load from the weekend DM (who has always been awsome) and head out. I continue to get ##### loads from my DM and good loads from the weekend DM for a few weeks. Now Im low on hours and even tho I told my DM that I need a 34 restart, he sends a load. I message him saying I can pick it up and drive till I cant drive anymore but ill need to be swapped cause I wont have the hours to make it all the way. He calls......says I have plenty of hours he is looking at it now and i can make it. I accept the load but make I dont have the hours to make it on time, the NEXT day he calls and ask "are you sure your ok on this load, your low on hours" by this time Im fed up and I go off, crap loads, when and if he responds to messages its hours or days after I sent the question/concern in. He tells me the loads im given are great loads that yeah I may have to sit a few days but they are good loads blah blah blah.....Im out of the hole now and I want to stay that way, the ONLY way to do this is to work for another company.

England has a lot of bad DM's and a lot of good ones. I had to go through 5 DM's before I found one who wasn't a habitual liar. I would e-mail Bud at bud.pierce@crengland.com and explain to him your frustrations with your DM and you need to change fleets.

Now the operations manager may have a talk with your DM to give you better freight but this is usually short lived. Just change fleets, I would recommend the container division. We pickup loads in Texas a lot and the freight is steady.
