What kind and year trucks can I expect after training? I am starting on Monday and just wondering how old and type of their fleet.
I know the one guy on here mentioned he got a 2012 Cascadia. Is that typical? I would think not. Just wondering in general about their fleet.

I think cre leases trucks for 3 years then turn them back in. So it is hard to get a really old truck.
I would think a new company team would have a good chance at a new truck.
    Most are freightliners

Sorry but I have to call you on this........only 3 years experience and you are a trainer......after 3 years you only know enough to be DANGEROUS....you should not be a trainer under any circumstances.....I guess standards are real low at CRE.

Not to call anyone out as I am a Newbie, but Werner Regional Manager told me that you can become a trainer 6 months after completing their training. I personally agree that it is way too soon. I would like to see trainers with a couple of years OTR before they are "eligible" to apply. Then they should be "trained" at being a trainer.

The one thing I do not agree on is that after 6 months of being a phase 2 trainer you have to become a phase 1 trainer. 6 months is way to soon for that kind of responsibility.

If you want to remain a phase 2 trainer it should be up to the driver how long he/she wants to remain a p2 trainer.

A lot of mega carriers are 'nudging' other drives after training to go train... Roehl, Prime, CR England, Swift etc etc ...

But I do agree, You should at least have 2 years under your belt before training...

When I took the class to become a phase 1 trainer again everyone there had only 6 months experience. They said that they were not assigned another phase 2 student anymore because they had too much experience.

Yes I know that sounds horrible.
