    Hello All,

Little about me, I'm only 21 years old, I applied to Swift, Prime, Roehl, Werner, Stevens, CRST, Gordon and others but it seems that CRE was the only one that accepted me. All i have is the clothes on my back and a laptop, no Family(Sons daughters, girlfriend, wife etc)...

I just signed up with CR England and I am going to the Training Center in Fontana, CA (which is 25 miles away from here so it's not that bad) on Sunday (this sunday), I already have my CA CDL Permit, so More practice on the yard whilist everyone is inside or at the DMV studying their behinds off..

Recruiter is Kim, she seems ok haven't asked her much questions as I've already read peoples expierence with this process, heck if i get stranded in fontana i could always call up a friend to pick me up.. so no worries there, just hope my trainer is decent.

:biggrin_25513: No Lease! - I have no intention of signing up for the lease, I'm only here for a while then moving on to a better company hopefully..

I hope Company isn't bad as people are saying about the L/O Side..

Again, No Intention of signing for Lease, not with CR England anyways...

Interested in hearing how it all turns out for you, I am retiring from the military later this year and thinking about getting into this as a second career. I have read all the forums and have not seen too much positive on CRE. Well good luck and keep us posted.

dont let the post or past drivers here scare any of you away from cre, I have been here since oct 2011 and been on my own in a lease truck since late dec.

Its very hard NOT to make money with CRE, I have made money with every paycheck but my last and thats due to truck being in the shop. I made a call to horizon and they not only refunded the money i spent on a hotel for 3 days (mech. were fuuuuuuucking slow) but they also took the money I owed and split it up so I can make money and pay past weeks payment, my only complaint about CRE is my DM is horrible....he is hardly ever at his desk and takes FOREVER to respond to anything. Other than that I have asked the planner to get a route going thru my city with a day or so on the load 2 times now and both times I was sent thru and got at lest 24 hours at home. This goes to show my post in other topics about CRE was dead on.

If you lease and are lazy you wont make it, but if you put forth the effort and keep a good tude at everyone but your DM (##### him) its not hard to make money.

Don't worry now, I have received a call from the head recruiter mojo guy... and he told me that my recruiter passed my info down to him for final approval and he asked whether or not i have any intentions of going Lease and I said No and he said ok, next few hours got an email saying There are no openings and that My place has been "Filled"...

Oh Well.... Back to the minimum wage job...

I put in an app to CR England.

They are the only company that calls me everyday with a recording telling me to call back another number to talk to a recruiter. EVERY other company that has contacted me has called me back on my cellphone. Its like being called from a bill collector or something. They call daily. Out of sheer principle I wont talk to them unless they have a live person contact me.

Plus they SPAM my email daily with the same drivel. Wish they would just stop TBH. ;)

Best of luck to ya though. Get your experience and move on to something better.
