Hauling potatoes in a reefer trailer sucks real bad. It's all fun and games until you look in your trailer and find a million little potatoes in between the grooves on the floor. Using both end of the broom for an hour and a half to get them out

    Here's the update: Week ending 5/9 2369 miles, 7 trip-paks. $862 b4 tax. Week end 5/16 2267 miles, 5 trips, $668 b4 tax.
Can't complain too much. This week has been a little frustrating. Keep running into delays at shipper/receiver. Am sitting at delmonte in Kankakee, IL at 2:30 am, on a 21:00 appointment that was supposed to deliver at 05:30 in Tomah, WI. Don't think so. I was at the south holland yard today and watched another England driver trying to uncouple trailer, instead of letting air out of drive air bags, was hitting switch for rear drive axle. Also saw an armchair setting right on the centerline of I-65 going south between Gary and Indianapolis. It was like someone had just been sitting there and had just went to grab a beer.

Thank you so much for the update! It sounds like overall you are still satisfied. Is that safe to assume? Have you been home any?
    Stay safe Browny!

Was home for 5 days end of April, am going home for 4 days next week. Love being around my family, fiancé my 2 kids who are teenagers, and her 4 kids who are older, youngest is 17, and of course her grandson. We've been together for 5 years, not married but we might as well be. What sucks about hometime is that your check will suck. Made like $126 last time I went home. side note, my brother is on his phase 2, got in 1 trip, then 2012 Volvo they drive turbo broke and was shut down for a week. Things like that can happen, all just part of the fun.

When I was staying at the dorms in slc the guy across from me had his laptop stolen and the security there really didn't care. A laptop is helpful for watching a safety video or killing some time. Just keep your stuff locked up or always right next to your person. A student I picked up in August from slc said someone stole $200 from his wallet. He couldn't believe it since it was in his jacket pocket which was hanging from the bunk bed as he slept.
