LEASE vs NO LEASE

    In my opinion 90% of the training co. are about the same. I think it is a hudge misstake for a newbie to lease. And with that variable mileage chg. that CRE charges (I guess they still do) you makes it even more difficult at CRE. Plus you do not have control of your buisness as a lease operator as much as you would if you owned your own truck. Just an opinion from an ex trucker who hasn't drove a truck in almost 25 yrs. so take the advise for what it is worth.

    The first year I was with England as a Lease Operator I was just happy to get a positive paycheck. I was in over my head and it was definitely hard to explain to the Wife why I was basically working for free. I know CRE has made it harder to buy the truck at the end of the lease too so I would just find a nice company job and save up the down payment if you really want to be an O/O.
