My CR England adventure/experience... Hint, It's everything you've heard & then some!

Oh that's only a partial list as memory serves of the continuing issues I had with that truck. The turbo went down & it had a problem with the cooling fan. It also had a piston go out & I lost an entire week & more money getting that fixed. England's response to me when I'd call for help was it's your truck you need to handle it. I grew real tired of hearing that.

I agree there are many other choices out there. But one has to do what they can at the time & with what opportunity presents itself. For me at the time it was England.

J B Hunt was great to me I'll do a write up on my experience there too. They were very good to me & whatever issues folks have had with them I experienced none of it. I'd go back in a New York Minute if they'd have me. I hope to get my career back on track soon & earn my way back there.

As for England, well I try to be objective in light of my troubles there. After all I chose them not the other way around. It was just a bad experience & that's all too common. That doesn't mean there aren't people happy to be there & who are successful there. It just didn't happen for me.

 

Good question! You'd think in this economy & with such attention on predatory lending & financial schemes this type of activity would be splashed all over the mainstream media. But alas trucking is still considered a dirty necessity that is ignored until we get in an accident or cause a traffic jam. The sad fact is too many truckers & their families will continue to fall victim to these schemes until the nasty regulators at Federal Govco put an end to it.
