Another CRE school horror story

Point is to stick with it through the worst then one day in the future when you're with a company whom treats you right. When you're passing cre trucks u can pass them and nod your head to the driver like poor you lol

 

I went to school with England in Fontana, Ca. There was plenty of objectionable stuff going on but I decided not to be a whine about it. I got free school, free hotel, free transportation and many free meals. Now I have a good job with even better jobs on the horizon. While the training could have - should have -been a better experience, I remain grateful for the opportunity.

I suspect many (most?) come to this site more for entertainment than information. And we are very entertained by stories of outrage. I can provide either about England - I've been with them about 2 years.

 

I would rather collect cans and live on the streets before working for England again... This is the worst company I've ever worked for.. Everything I've read on here is true.. The only thing i'd add... Be sure to take pictures of your hours on the QUALCOMM during phase 1 & 2.. England will REDUCE your hours on your logs, and your paycheck already sucks!!! The only way you will make $650-$630 per week is if you drive your entire 11 & 14 hour clock... THE ENTIRE PAY PERIOD!!! My ave check was around $300 per week.. I have the stubs to prove it... You are a truck number to them and nothing more!!! RUN AWAY NOW!!!

 

You desired first-class seating on an airplane?

You desired limousine service from the airport to the hotel?

You have the audacity to be cheap, to have everything handed to you and ##### and complain as to how 'uncomfortable' it was to you??

Why didn't YOU pay for your own fare to get to Salt Lake City?? Why didn't you pay for your own hotel for your stay?? What didn't YOU pay for a cab to get you around? Why didn't YOU rent an automobile to get yourself around??

For ####'s sake...... you're the type of people that would ##### and complain about being hanged by a new rope.

What is it about you sort of people that will complain about something being given to you?? You're the type of Obama folk that cannot appreciate ANYTHING. You're the type of folk that would rather ##### and complain as to how hard it is and tell yourselves that nothing can be accomplished while the three others make something of themselves and their lives.

While I would tend to agree with you in a situation like this (someone not giving something much of a chance)...I will say that there's a BIG difference between quitting a train wreck of an "opportunity" in a timely manner and not having the fortitude to stick with it through a difficult process.

My only real question for the OP would be "If you saw consistently bad reviews about every facet of this company...why did you elect to ship out to their training course in the first place?" To me...that shows a lack of good judgment.

 

About 4 years ago when my whole crew got laid off from work I would have gone to any company that would have paid for my lunch. Broke as a joke doesn't come close to explaining those days. I think that's what CR England relies on is desperation. I luckily was able to snag another job but at one point I was reading the brochures big time

 

If I understand it rightly, that would mean that a person with no experience could drive without help or supervision. That is such an obviously dangerous idea that I think I may be missing something.

I got my licence with only one hour of practice - I was not qualified to drive unsupervised.
