Some people have a comprehension problem. Or they tgink they're going to be the one to buck the trend. CRE stacks the chips against you. It's what they do. It's all legal too.
Are there CR England success stories?

Well if you want to do a search you will find a Debi and Virgil story that was supposedly a successful story. A lease purchase success at that lol. I think the consensus was that it was really a creative CR recruiter who was just making up a fake story.

I remember my phase one trainer from CR England drove for the JC Penny dedicated account out of Spanish Fork Utah. He was making over 30 cents a mile, 4k=5k miles a week. The routes were pretty easy to get used to so he did not have to constantly watch me while driving and was able to get plenty of sleep.
He was making around $1,500 a week while I was making $62 a day. That is a success story right there. -
The owners of cre are quite the success story when it comes to deceptive practices.

It seems wages are rising for truckers. I got a recruiter offer (too late) for $1250/week "guaranteed" for reefer work. And I am seeing a lot of companies advertising higher cents/mile.
I was fired from England for having some alcohol off-site and off-duty but then returning to my truck at the yard to sleep. They tested me and I had a tiny amount (0.018) but it was "zero tolerance". I was pretty upset and getting some rejections at first because I was self reporting the nature of m termination. Now I know there is nothing on my DAC about it and England isn't mentioning it.
For me this was a good reminder to keep things in perspective. As I look back, whenever I was laid off or got fired in the past, it always led to a better situation. I should have left England earlier and I am grateful now that I got kicked down the road to a better place. Sometimes, we need a kick.AfterShock Thanks this. -
I started at England 8 years ago. Stayed with them for 3 years, then moved on to better things. I'm now driving for a small mom and pop shop, but I'm getting ready to leave OTR for good.
