| CR England My husband is signing on with CR England as we speak. I am hearing so much negative...someone please tell me some positive. He's not doing the lease thing...he's had his CDL for more than ten years now, so he's not a newby to driving. Anyone....? |
| |||
| One thing about CRE is that they will give you the miles if you do things their way. Your husband will be out for about four weeks at atime, and sometimes longer. |
| |||
| Well depending on where you live yes it could be 4 weeks just like prime told me, but i'm in the northwest and england delivers to here all the time and hauls out too so maybe for me it wont be 4 weeks. But i'm okay with 3 weeks. |
| |||
| What I can tell you about CRE is that I drove for them about three years ago(I am not a truck driver anymore) and I never had a problem with money like alot on here have posted about. I did not make alot of money, but I knew what the pay scale was when I sgned up. I honestly think all the hudge carriers that hire newbies, and train them are the same. It is like living in a coal camp. Heck someone told me that even the gtreat schneider school when finished you end up financing around $6000.00 |

| Why did you leave them and if you dont mind were you lease or company and what did you make. |

| HomeTime Qn Current CR England Driver question - Does CRE have a weekly hometime program? Their website was vague on hometime and b4 I call a recruiter I wanted some facts first. I see their trucks on i90 in NY, they look sharp but do they treat their drivers as nice as their equipment? Negative Non CRE Drivers need not reply... |
| ||||
| as a CRE company driver it has its ups and downs the truck could be better maintained and they do treat their drivers like s*** as 4 home time I have been out for 4 weeks now got approved for hometime "FREIGHT PERMITTING????" so who knows they have messed up on some of my paychecks to include not bieng payed for the week, and the old it will be on next weeks check but never there " all I can say it is all about your attitude and how you handle their gestapo tacktics I just cant wait to get a local gig paying hourly you make a lot more and your are around to watch your kidz grow up
