This is BS. They test you at one of tw0 terminals, and the company doing the testing is the company who you will be forced to buy the CPAP machine from. Should be illegal.

    Brandson Thanks this.

Do they test everybody or just whoever like a random type thing?

....and does anyone know for sure if you have to purchase their machine if you already have one, though it's a different brand? (And yes, it has the readable card.)

For me, if I'm required to buy their machine, it may be a deal breaker for me, even though I'm already here. I'm not shelling out money for a machine when I have not one, but TWO machines that did not cost me a dime and both work perfectly well (I keep the older one as a backup unit).

It's supposed to be everyone who fits the screening criteria. I have had some drivers tell me that cpap machines they already had, or were under treatment by another doctor for sleep apnea, still had to get the new one.
I don't know if they had the readable card, or not.

If that's the case, my time with Crete will be short. Already discussed it with the wife. I will not stay. Scroom.

I agree with you guys......I'm waiting for the "overnite" sleep lab........
I'll be getting a cpap machine with the "card"....there's no reason to purchase their machine, other than for them to make money!
I'M NOT DOING IT! I'll go to another carrier!

Do you have any idea how much a sleep study, machine, and follow ups cost?

Carriers that provide in house testing and offer machines should be considered peoples saving grace on this issue. That machine is a mere penny compared to the actual tests. This isn't some money making conspiracy.
