Looking for info on Hunt Transportation

    So far searching has come up with nothing. I am just trying to figure out what miles are like and if it is a good division to work under. I hear great things about Crete so hopefully Hunt is just as good.

    I drive for shaffer and enjoy them...hear great things about hunt. All freightliner mid roofs...hardly see any here in the east.

    I drive for Hunt.. I like it here very much. we all drive Prostars, i average 2800 miles a week, we have good accounts and we good equipment..

    Hunt has absolutely no freightliners, they have only midroof prostars, with battery pack APUs which run out every night. The newest trucks have a switch which idles the truck to charge the batteries... but it switches to engine cooling and blows cold air on you every time it starts. The battery packs are even worse, when they run out of power, they keep blowing but dont light the burner any more.

    Not to mention an absurd level of breakdowns. I rate the trucks below average, especially behind their competition, such as Valley, Daws, or Maverick, who all have vastly better trucks.
