    New guy here, got off the trainers truck yesterday. Lucked into a 2014 Midroof Prostar, pretty happy with it. Anywho, when I was in orientation, one of the Safety or Recruiting people mentioned a Crete Mobile App coming soon, possibly June. I was pretty excited about this, as I just left USX and loved being able to get load assignments and messages from Dispatch on my phone wherever I was.

    So, anyone here anything about this? Haven't seen it in the Market yet and I'd assume that the company would make some sort of announcement, but I've never heard a thing other than one recruiter at orientation saying to expect it in June.

    Why would anyone want an 'app'? They have qualcom in the trucks, and they are slow enough to respond or send messages that way. What makes you think an 'app' would make things better?

    They don't offer any pay for your cellphones, like some companies do. Let them use the qualcom.
