I ran 62 with Gordon while I was there. At first it drove me insane. Then I got used to it. Don't think I could do it again. I just pulled 709 miles today from Emerson, GA to Concordia, MO.

I believe Crete has run that speed for a while. On a side note, I noticed Quest has slowed their trucks back to 64/65. Had one the other day roll the hills to catch up with me and then sat next to me looking like a muppet till I backed off and let him go.

Had a good conversation with an O/O out of Missouri that he was holding up as a result of it though.

Thats your problem if you cant pass him... You shouldnt be running up against your governor anways you should run 57 or 58 that way when you need to pass another slow truck you shouldnt have a problem... Thats commen sense...

Crete doesn't lease trucks, however they offer you to BUY one of their trucks that they retired.
If you buy a truck from them you have to lease onto them.

    Here's a link for that https://ess.cretecarrier.com/HRWebApp/Files/2013cascadiaprog.pdf

nothing I'm interested in though, no sir.

Tyson Foods trucks run 70 mph. You Crete drivers should stay in the right lane so Tyson can get on down the road.

That's a technique I use and it is actually nice to have the extra notches when I need them!

Take a few seconds to comprehend what you read before telling me how I 'should' be driving.

Did I not say that when I come up on a slower truck that fall in line behind him until I know I've got clear road to close the following distance AND get around him without holding up traffic.......except on the rare occasion I may misjudge it or god forbid have the courtesy to let someone in rather than pin them on the ramp and then they hang me out there?

Thats exactly what what I said.

62.5 sounds right. Most would go for the glory of a .5 mph pass.
