So there are no terminals or drop yards in california? Where do california drivers park the truck and trailer for hometime?
Recruiter told me I'm responsible for parking truck&trailer when I go home.
Doesn't make sense that parking is not provided in the hiring area? Any insight would be appreciated, thanks!

I live 180 miles from the Indianapolis terminal, lucky for me my city doesn't mind truck parking on the street, the truck ain't right outside, I have to walk 25 to 30 seconds to reach it.
From the other thread, I bought 10 acres and will make sure I have a good driveway to support an 80,000 lb rig. But that's me.
if you decide on being a Cretin, maybe find a place nearby to park it, you might have to pay for a parking spot, or leave it at a truckstop,
or if you are tech savvy, you could search for a company with a terminal near you, heck, you could stumble on a day cab job and make more than me, and be home every day.
Forget that part, I want to be recruiter of the year again like last year. I so want that picture of a plaque emailed to me so I can print it out and buy a frame for it -
I'm lucky as well I live 2 hours from Indianapolis
I leave the truck at the terminal and drive home
West coast guys need to stay out 6 weeks minimum I believe
That's bogus in my opinion -

There are drop yards in California. Not sure if you can leave truck there for hometime tho. The only one I've been to is in Stockton. There's one near Fontana. Could be more.

There are two drop yards in Ontario. One in Stockton. Just drop your empty trailer there and bobtail home. Or, park at truck stop near your home.
