CRST the truth..Good company bad trainers

I have been looking to get back into the trucking industry again after being out for the past fifteen years. I have applied to every company that offers training due to since being out of a truck for such a long time they say I need a refresher course or some form of retraining. I have been offered by so many companies to come to them but after reading these reports I would change my mind about signing on. Today I was contacted by a company that hires for CRST to give me the insight of what could take place and then I read another disappointment like your experience and I think I am changing my mind about trucking all together . What does him being black have to do with anything? Safe driving miles are safe driving miles. Butt kissing won't get you a million miles with no accidents. Safe driving will.

 

I would just like to say i had a great trainer he was kind curtious and all around awsome guy i had some fam. Issues he refused to get another student for a week and even took his home time in fontana (he lives in ok) so that i could get home and get back on with him and you know what he is now one of my best friends he moved over to crete yesterday so not the same company anymore so that bites but if i could just give some advice to the new people take a day to get to know the driver b4 u get on the truck if u clash it aint gonna work and to quote tony (my trainer) it aint how u screw up its how u recover that counts

 

I was on an awesome dedicated account for UPS and then R&L while at CRST. I made $850 on the UPS and $981 a week on the R&L account. I was only out 4 days and home 3. I can say dedicated is good but I have heard first hand from OTR drivers what a dump it is. They just weren't getting any miles.

just left crst aug 25 after a year and a half. started my driving career w/ them believe there is some bad but also some good use them to get started in your driving career but realize it goes 2 ways . yes you will be used too . do your homework , do you're time , move on
