I was able to get my hands on a copy of CRST Malone's lease purchase contract (after calling a higher up, since the recruiter said he couldn't get me one)

on page 22 of a 47 page contract

not looking like the walk away lease they are portraying it to be

feel free to send me a PM if you want it

    "FORTY SEVEN PAGES"?

    For what?

If you like them, it sounds like your attorney should interpret it. Forty seven pages is your first clue- something isn't right.

You think the contract is NOT for them? They get the maintenance account, that's for sure.

Bravo to Groovtha for checking out stuff, beforehand!

Remember, CRST-Malone has owners. The whole thing changes, when you own your truck and trailer.

I am doing the l/p @ Malone and besides maint. it has been good for me and as for the contractmost places you go are gonna make you feel like your selling you soul with all the crap they have you sign. This is my 2nd time I have leased a truck and as long as you are getting the truck through the company that you are going to work for and they dont need to check your credit, wether they like it or not it's a walk away lease. As long as you return the truck where the company wants it and there is nothing more than normal wear they cant put anything against you. if they do you can fight it and will win wether it be put on your credit( which if they didnt run your credit to begin with or tell you the outcome of the lease will be reflected on your credit) or put on your dac. someone on here had the contact info for dac but i'll have to see if i can find it again. Last company I leased for claimed some b.s. fees wanting me to pay, I told them they were full of it and a few months later they were begging for me to come back.

I feel that were it a true "walk away" lease (as the recruiters and whatnot are saying) then there would be something in the contract about it.. that's what i don't agree with

VanCountry are you still doing the L/P and how are things working out for you there? I am considering doing this as I have the experience, but no Truck.

I have posted a copy of the L/P agreement online for anyone to take a look at.. it honestly looks like any regular lease, just no terms regarding the "walk away" aspect

    here's the link!
