Have you made contact with dispatch? What's their plan for you? Getting another trainer? Get a hold of them, ask them what the plan is and that you need to get to another trainer asap. Either they bus you to cedar rapids or, another lead driver will pick you up.

I finally got a hold of dispatch this morning and they told me to stay in carlisle, pa at the hotel and they will find another trainer for me. I am so happy. I am just glad that things are starting to move. I am learning that you have to be patient in this industry. I thought about going home a few times, but I love trucking and I worked to hard to get this far, so I am going to go ahead and try to stick it out for next 8 months. I will update when I get a chance as the story unfolds. I understand I have to pay my dues and well....I am definitely doing that..lol. ps. don't know who and when the trainer is coming but I'm hoping he's professional because I am a female and I know it can be rough in this industry for us trucker gals. I just wanna drive and that's it. Thnks for asking Professional. You've been very helpful for me.

No problem. I've been in some real crap jams myself and truckers should know to treat each other with respect. As for crst, they will take care of business. If you ever need a problem adressed that dispatch can't help you out with, contact Joe Mortemer. Hes the operations mngr for the central fleet in Iowa. Great guy. He'll pull so many strings for you, you will feel like the owner. :biggrin_2559:

Good luck with it, I hope that this turns out well for you. You still have the drive for it, anyway.

You have an awesome attitude. You will go far. Most idiots would be blaming CRST because a trainer flaked out and quit.

Well I'm still in Carlisle, PA waiting for a trainer. It is awfully boring, but hey, I got food, free room, tv, and free wifi, microwave, and fridge. My dispatcher is still trying to find a trainer so I will continue to be patient. I will pretty much have to call him everyday to check in and get my voucher because he seems to be soooo busy he forgets. Anywho, my ex-trainer called and said he turned in the trip sheets, so I will get a paycheck on Thursday (yeah! no advances). He apologized again and wished me well, so that made me feel good. I have come to the realization that I have to take the good with the bad until I get my experience. Well, I'll see what happens, until then to all my fellow trucker guys and gals be safe. It's nasty on the East right now! :biggrin_2553:....my verizon of a winter guy. :biggrin_25523:
