I am looking to get into the industry and considered CRST as a company to start my trucking career. The main reason is because CRST is offering to train me as long as I work 8 months with the company. But thanks to all the people on thetruckreport.com, complaintsboard.com, and ripoffreport.com, I decided not to rush into an contract with CRST. Now, I will pay for school on my own and not enter any contract with any company. I still might consider working for CRST, but I want the option to leave if I feel CRST has me making unsafe runs or any other problem.
I'm looking to see if any drivers could recommend a school in Southern California (Inland Empire) that has decent training. I know both Dynasty Trucking School and Dootson Truck Driving School both offer one-on-one training. If anyone knows about either of these two schools or any other please let me know.
Thanks

Thanks for the info on CRST

Backing is the most technical part of driving a big rig!
If it is "the easiest"....then why do so many have so much trouble doing it?
C'mon up here and see if you can pass my backing test...even with your 8 years of experience! I won't ask anything of you I haven't already done...or attempted to do! With your truck/trailer! -
otherhalftw Thanks this.
