We used to pay for our tags, but hubby turned it over to CRST. We didn't owe anything, but our bond disappeared. We called Toni Sullivan @ 205-951-5972. They keep our bond, tally up tags, make a deduction and pay after 6 weeks. Toni told us we lose $366 for the remainder of the year. That's why we used to run our own tags.

Payroll almost never answers, anymore. Toni answers her phone in the afternoon.

Who did you call? I could get a DAC report, from our TAG lady in 2 minutes. Funny, CRST wouldn't let my DH quit.

He told his agent, 2 weeks in advance. Took loads; finished up. Came home, stripped signs and mailed everything. He went to orientation at the new company, only to be told he was still with CRST. He argued with Jeff Loggins, about quitting. We couldn't book a load, because they wouldn't give him a "quit date". He had to call CRST with the certified mail receipt number.

If you quit, e-mail Jeff Loggins and mail back everything, via certified receipt.

    I was a company driver.

I called Brad Oystercamp. Nobody answers a phone over there. It's like trying to call dispatch all over again...LOL.

They did the same thing to me. At the orientation for my next company they said CRST still had me as employed. I had to fax them a resignation.

I was talking to a guy once who said he quit and went to another orientation. He didn't like it so he called up his "former" CRST dispatcher, who told him to just come back because he hadn't listed him as quitting yet. Must just be something they do.

I'm going to get a copy of my DAC to make sure they didn't put anything on there.

You should've sent a qualcomm message. Abandoning a tractor while loaded or empty is a serious offense.

What are you talking about? I didn't abandon anything anywhere at any time. I still think it is an error, considering I wasn't working for the company when it supposedly happened. And I didn't say anything about a tractor.

Without a formal letter of resignation, and by you cleaning out your tractor. Its abandonment.

better look closer at what he is saying....

How can he be hung for something 6 months AFTER he left.

Personally, I'd make one last call, tell them my next call is to a lawyer and be done with it.

Resignation was over qualcomm. Also officially left the truck over qualcomm. Co-driver was left in charge of truck. They have not accused me of abandonment. You came up with that out of thin air.

Ok. You resigned in the appropriate manner. The qualcomm messages are saved for a few years. Call joe mortmor at 800 366 8416. Leave him a message stating the date anytime that you officially resigned over the qualcomm. Along with your old id number. Also explain that collections is billing you and if this can be investigated by him. He will then probe around and get things squared away for you. He's really cool person...so try to be polite. He will actually call you personally so yea. He's central fleet ops management. Good luck.

Is this "incident" on your DAC? Sounds like somebody made a typo when entering a driver number while recording this incident. One of the complaints I had about this company was communication was virtually impossible once you started up the chain of command as you would receive a different answer with each person you talked to.

Just make sure they didn't ding your DAC
