I have no idea what it's for. I gave them a 2 week notice but my FM let me just leave the truck when we went on home time. My co-driver had the truck after that.
I call the number and just get a recording.
I have no intention of paying it, but I am curious why they think they are charging me.
CRST is trying to bill me $450

There will always be a different story with crst. Im on an 8 month contract with. my first check was only 19 dollars. now part of that might be child support still and yes it 11 cents a mile or
Split miles same thing -
Let me clarify some things. I had no contract or outstanding advances. The two letter code for this "deduction" is not listed. When I got my final check everything was cool. This "deduction" came on a statement in snail mail way after I quit.
Also, my pay was always correct, though I did have a problem getting some reimbursements. That was cleared up after it was discovered the FM entered the wrong employee number.
No chance of me ever going back there. The pay is way too low. -
Very understandable. Sometimes i too have payroll issues. I get on the phone with my dm and payroll real quick. As for complaints, those have to be taken up with mngt. -
Just an update. They say it was for "failing to secure a trailer". I never had any incident like that. The only thing the lady in collections could tell me was it was entered into the system in December of 2011, a full 6 months after I quit. Still waiting to hear back from operations on the exact details.
bulldog070303 and MNdriver Thank this. -

Gotta love an employer like that....
