There's a two week crash course. If you fail you'll get one more chance. Yes you'll get a greyhound ticket back home. In two weeks you'll get around 4hours of driving.

Look into Prime or Conway. I would even try Roehl. You get 3 shots at the test at Kirkwood. I don't know about the other courses at CRST. Yes they do Greydog you in. No they don't force you into a lease. They won't even allow you to lease till you have 6 months of winter driving experience. Prime feeds you the week you are at training, you eat a lot of Ramen noodles at CRST unless you have money. Check around first and see what is the best fit.

You can kind of consider yourself an LTL driver as you'll haul alot of conway freight loads..lol. Just low pay and you get to sleep in the truck as well.

Only last to load. Lol. Also, FedEx and UPS. Wana know what Air Freight means ... two drivers in a truck. Good luck and really, really do your research. Know what you want and ask questions.

Yeah but get in good with Air Freight and you will never stop running.

What do you mean? Air freight has no say as to who gets dispatched-

They certainly did when I worked there. The more I read of your responses the more I get the feeling you know nothing about CRST. To say they have no say is completely incorrect.

I worked for them from Jan 2010 to July 2011. Air Freight would request us all the time. Once on an Air Freight load we would talk directly to them, not our FM. Then they would set us up for the next load. I was usually part of a #1 speed-rated hazmat team (except for when I had a couple worthless co-drivers). The regular FM had very little to do with any AF loads.
