What are you talking about.
The new intermodel is solo. There using the eco trucks or what ever they are called.
But yes they are solo.

 

Could also be flatbed work, Have seen crst(day cabs) trucks hauling steel loads, For Ryerson steel, Another Union job lost to a BFI

 

Crst has a 7 year contract with Pacar to haul containers to start in chicago and salt lake city this year and others in the future the are solo and probably home every night I posted the newspaper article on here about month or 2 ago

 

hey just wondering if you ever went with CRST, im suppose to start orientation next week in countryside,IL to do intermodal

 

Anybody do intermodal for crst?

 

i used to run local with crst out of buffalo dedicated to ryerson no union was horrible . they pay milage and stop pay so unless you can manage to get a good full day of like 12 stops and good about of miles you wont make any money , at least with this account i was paid .32 mile and 11 a stop so if you got like 6 stops like me every day with the miles i was lucky to make 80.00 a day b4 taxes think about it 6 stops -66.00 plus around 50 miles a day cause i was in buffalo mainly -16.00 so stope pay plus milage gave me 82 a day mainly what i was doing then they were contracted to keep 17 trucks on at all times but never had work for 17 trucks so i was working 1-2 days a week at 80-160 a week really no way so i just went else where . but if they had work to keep me busy all week would of been good job they work monday thru friday no week ends no holidays no night was great other then the hours.

 

not yet but I may go there next month....bout to get laid off where I am now
