OK I started back with Crst on the sept 11th or 12 did 28 days again stuck in Carlisle for a week. Then i let her know i have court tomorrow an she doesnt want to get me home so i resheduled court.no co driver so I'm solo then I tell my FM I want home time around thanks giving she says tell me when my court is rescheduled. So pretty much no and good luck. I've been away from home almost two months an it will be going on 3 when I get home. #### it would be one thing if I was getting paid but I'm broke an solo runs are scheduled so weird I can't make them by myself April needs to hurry up an get here so I can quit.

Hey bigwuz, I started out with CRST as my first driving job also. Stayed out with my trainer around 22 or so days. ( I had a fantastic trainer, great BIG shout out to Gregory P. GREAT guy ) Any way, after being home for 2 or 3 days had to go back out because I was so broke. Met up with my team driver, CRST kept us out 3 months with no hometime. No miles, sitting at truck stops 3 or 4 freakin days waiting on a load and of course no money. When they finally got us home we told them where they could find their truck if they wanted it. CRST is ok for a first driving gig, but when you get home go somewhere else. There are some ok companies out there that will hire you. Star Transport (Morton IL) is a better company than CRST. Home most every weekend and pay is not great but it pays the bills. (depending on how you live I guess). And Im sure there are some other companies. Knight is one also. You will make enough extra at these companies to pay CRST training if you still owe them. Some companies will help you get set up to pay them back. I now have been out of trucking about 1 1/2 yrs. I have 1yr total driving time and Im looking for another company to go to work for. Make sure you get a FULL yr in before you stop driving. You have a good chance to go back driving if you decide to quit for awhile. Best to just hang in there. So if anyone knows of a good company to go with let me know.

being off the road for 1 1/2 years doesn't help much. most will want 2 - 3 years RECENT. no matter how long you've had your cdl.

Snowwy, Thats why Im getting back to driving. Most good companies do want 2 or 3 yrs experience. But Ive got to get it somewhere. Just trying to get it with the best company I can get with for now. Got a wife and kids at home that I have to support. Cant go to work for another company like CRST or I want have a home to back to. I hear good and bad on most all companies. Mostly seems like its what the driver makes of it. Most bad comes from previous drivers and good comes from current drivers with the same exact company. Just looking for a company that I can bring home a decent pay check, decent health insurance and treats me halfway decent. Thats not asking to much of any company. But there are some out there thats not worth driving for. Im just trying to find a good company to stay with for awhile and get my time in, as you stated in your post. And who knows?? Maybe it will be a company good enough to stay with for the next 20 yrs. Thats kinda what Im looking at.

Thanks long run. I will look into them. All I really know about Prime is I blew their doors off with every truck I have ever been in. Their trucks are really slow. But that doesnt mean alot ( doesent mean anything really). I will definately check them out. Do you drive or have you driven for them?
