I don't get all the job hopping. If you liked it there, why did you leave? More money?

I would leave for more money. CRST is really good about getting you a ton of miles but there is better pay out there. After I get the year experience under my belt, I can go somewhere else and make 10¢ more a mile. Only thing I'm worried about is getting more pay per mile but not as many miles. Just thought I'd put my two cents in, like always. Lol

I am returning to truck driving after 3 years off, and considering CRST. l expect I will need to go through training, because I left the field for a while. I am wiling to do that--trucking is in my blood.

CRST is good company, they are a team company, with that in mind make sure that's something you want to do. For me I would not be teaming right now if my wife wasn't my co-driver. It's hard to find someone to share such a small space with. With 3 years off it might be more than a refresher course with them which would also require you to do an 8 month contract for the training. Call Sara S. in recruiting she was our recruiter and didn't tell us anything that wasn't true I'm sure she can answer any questions you have, she does a thorough job. I can give you her direct line (would post it here but I'm not sure if that's allowed). And no I'm not a recruiter for CRST just another driver.

Can you tell me what the written tests during orientation are about? Are they about the endorsements or what? Thanks

I worked for them on 2 different dedicated accounts. They treated me really good. The pay wasn't very good but I like my home time more than high pay. The dirt lot in Fontana was pretty bad.

The written tests were all open book when I was in orientation. There were about 5 or 6 tests. Company policy and the other junk you need to go through. Hazmat too.
