No they don't pay you anything until you're on a truck, but the good things there are they do provide a room and transportation if you're at a hotel away from training site, also as soon as you're under a load you can request a advance, but only do it as a last resort. I know all this cause a friend of mine went there, and ended up being a trainer after six months, he keep calling me asking how to teach certain things I told to stop teaching the extra money wasn't worth his life ,since crst allows the trainer to train for a week then expects them to run as team, that's pretty scary if you ask me.

Thanks. I actually submitted an online application for Roehl for their NE Regional van openings that have a few hours ago. I posted on the Roehl board and a guy said they hire students and new drivers, he went through their school. I'm going to call them first thing in the morning. They appear to be a very good company.

Just STAY AWAY FROM CRST!! HAVE MORE VALUE IN YOURSELF THAN TO JUST GO ANYWHERE. CHECK OUT A COMPANY CALLED "TMC" I BELIEVE THAT THEY HIRE STUDENTS AND THEIR TRAINING IS GOOD FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND.

Gotta be 23 years old for TMC. I'm only 21 unfortunately.

They are a pretty good company. I started there when I got out of school.
