I believe when I started it was at .18 or .20 cents per mile, It was a joke. I was literally taking home $75-150 a week. Add that to some "interesting" co-drivers, I ended up taking a Leave of absence 3 months into my contract to go back to my old job to make some money. And at the 6th month (end of contract) went back to drive for a month to complete the contract. To add icing on the cake, after I completed my 6th month, CRST calls me and says I haven't fulfilled my contract yet and I need to come back and drive, I said ok, how many days do I have left? They said one... So I drove 100 miles back to Fontana did a local run, which they still have yet to pay me for, and drove home.
A month later, Instead of a pay check, I get an invoice from CRST for $50. I called them and told them this is ridiculous, you're withholding my pay and now you want me to pay you for me doing a job that you asked me to do?! I told them to piss off, they ended up putting me in collections over the $50, I explained to the debt collectors how silly this situation is and that I have absolutely no intention to pay someone who hasn't paid me for work performed.
CRST is a joke, run...don't walk away.driverdriver Thanks this. -
Why would put your life in someone else's hands (co.driver) who will most likely only have as much experience as you.
That's how they do it at Crash Roll Stunt Trucks )crst.
You will be far better off to go with Schneider.
You'll actually learn during training and you can do it at their yard in Fontana.
