We as a team can get over 5500 mm per load, pay scale depends upon experience,
if you start w/contract you will get.22c x m. If you had your cdl you can start making .33cm it goes up every 6mo you get.1c increase.and i Think until it tops at .44cm. you could be a trainer an make more.
PS had done a lot of research n CRST is by far the only company that pays more for team drivers.
Like many other jobs there are good n bad things.
You ARE THE ONLY ONE THE CAN MAKE THINGS HAPPEN and your state of mind.
Well I think I said enough. GoodBless. Keep rolling:Trailer:

We split miles only. You get pay x experience. A new person w/contract gets .22cm.
If this is your first time driving, 1 thing if the trainer that you will get is not teaching you at all, Pls get a hold of dispatch and ask to change trainer, Don't have to explain just said it's not working out, but if you get one that is teaching you n personality clash try to stay n work with it, Because every time you change trainers it may just take you longer to get another trainer and it will take a lot more time to finish your training. God Bless N good luck.Don't give up. :Van:

Blue is right about the trainers. I had one who didn't even know how to back in a straight line much less a dock and he was trying to teach me how to back. it was a joke. if you have one who does not teach get a different one. if you have one with a personality conflict as long as it is not messing with him teaching you stay with it.

Just curious... You have 2 years (verifiable?) and they require you to go with a trainer?

I mean I could understand a week or whatever maybe to learn any particulars about their specific companies way of doing things but... is that required of any driver signing on with them? Going with a trainer I mean?

    Peace Out, Paul

sorry for the late response, been on the road:biggrin_25519:.
ok, i had been at crst that long. n yes it has to be verifiable, also if you had not driven for a while you will go with a trainer for 28 days, with or withot a contrac.

To be a trainer at CRST, all you need is 6 mos exp. After 6 mos into my contract, they offered a training position to me. I said "No, way!" I did not feel I had adequate experience to train a noob everything they needed to do to be successful and safe on the road. I would not want to have a 6 month trainer. Yikes.

Think about this. If a contract student trains in April, starts driving in May, at the end of October they are eligible to become a trainer. This "trainer" is now taking on trainees through the Winter months when that trainer has had very little to zero driving time in Winter conditions.
