I thought CRST did only long haul.....Each run is to average 1400 to 1500 miles.... What's up with that!!!!!!

all loads arent gonna average 1400 to 1500 miles, you will get some small ones to either get you out of a low frieght area or to get you home.

Been out of truck for 5 years cancels everything

[quote=SpeedyWho;1048045]Good luck guys, I am just getting back on the road myself, after work as a carpenter for the last 5 years. Its tough to find a company that will hire you if you haven't been in the truck for a while. Most of them told me that all the time and miles I've driven safely dont mean squat since its not recent. Thats just the way its is now.

I want to get back into the truck also and I've been stuck driving a schoolbus for 6 years now. I dont get paid for the summer and would do odd jobs...I need to make more money...Hope to see on the road..Tell me how you doing

I've been to bakersfield many times. Do you know where California City is? They built a private run prison out there about 10 years ago. We moved out there and I worked there for a couple of months. I Didn't like it so we moved back to MO. My son still lives out there.
